WUDC 2018

Your registration fee includes the following:

A. Hotel Accomodation at the Fiesta Americana Reforma Hotel for 8 nights (December 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 2017 and January 1st, 2nd and 3rd 2018 with checkout on January 4th at 12:00pm)

If you wish to arrive earlier or stay later, the hotel will offer a discounted rate. Stay tuned.

B. Breakfast, lunch and dinner on December 28, 29, 30 and 31st 2018 and January 2nd and 3rd. Please note we will not provide meals on arrivals day (December 27 or on January 1st where you will be able to go on excursions or explore the city).

C. Access to all social events.

D. Transportation to and from all venues that are part of the Championship schedule.

E. Participation at all events that are part of the WUDC México 2018 agenda (E.g. Public speaking and masters)

    Full Registration Fee Payment Deadline for Slots of Underrepresented Countries

    Please revise the bracket information as outlined in our registration policy in points III and IV.

    Furthermore, remember that it is each institution’s responsibility to revise your bracket is correct; all corrections must be made prior to March 27, 2017 which is the date registration opens. Any inconsistencies or doubts regarding your institution's bracket status can be addressed by reaching the following address: registration@wudc2018.mx

    III. Four brackets will be created (sorted first by break average, and then randomly):
    Bracket A - Institutions with a break average of 1.5 or higher
    Bracket B - Institutions with a break average between 0.0 and 1.5
    Bracket C - Institutions with a break average of 0.0 that have attended any of the past three WUDCs
    Bracket D - Institutions with a break average of 0.0 that have not attended any of the past three WUDCs

    IV. During the first and second round of allocations, 410 team spots will be allocated on the following basis until the team cap is exhausted.

    (Please be advised that the remaining 30 slots will be allocated to teams from underrepresented countries. For more information regarding deadlines, please review the registration timeline).

    Dear participants, please find below the most up to date payment list. Here we have marked institutions as:

    1) INSTITUTIONS DROPPED (marked in red): Institutions that will be dropped by registration in the following hours due to lack of payment or communication with us. If your institution has been erroneously dropped (e.g - you already paid, you were granted an extension, you are pending to receive an invoice) please let us know to put you back on the list ASAP.

    2) Bank transfer error: we urge institutions marked under this status to please reach out to the WUDC contact person marked on the list to track your transfer. This status indicates we have received a transfer proof from your end but that we have not been able to find it in our bank statements.

    3) Extension: we urge institutions with payment extensions to contact their representative to clarify extension dates and pending documents (such as invoices, invitation letters) that the WUDC finance team needs to provide.

    4) Payment ASAP (marked in red): we urge these institutions, who were allocated slots late in the process to please get in touch with your WUDC representative in order to clarify payment status, otherwise they will be dropped in the next 72 hours.

    5) OK: Institutions marked as OK that have pending balances to be paid to WUDC must submit payments ASAP (see institutions marked in yellow) to avoid dropout in the next 72 hours.

    The list for the third round of allocations is now available; also, any further changes in allocations will be modified on this same document in the remaining months. We ask you to please check that your institution did abide by the "N-1" rule, as we were unable to grant more teams to those who did not

    Many institutions were granted additional teams and judges, we ask you to please check the list carefully to see if your allocated slots have changed

    Institutions that registered late in the past couple of months have also been granted at least one team. If this is your institution's case, you will find your allocation at the bottom of the list.
